  • 1 medium sized duck
  • 250 ml of water
  • 175 ml of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated

Ingredient Sauce

  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 6 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 125 ml of water


  • Wash the duck and dry it with a clean cloth. Prick with a piece of bamboo or skewer through the neck and body cavity so that the duck is easy to hold.
  • Place the duck on the basin. Flush with boiling water. Dry it again.
  • Mix honey, water, salt and ginger. Stir well. Spread with honey mixture until blended. Repeat 3-4 times. Let stand 2 hours in the refrigerator or overnight until the skin is dry in the refrigerator without being closed.
